We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored!

1 Corinthians 1:27-29 (NLT)
(27) Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. (29) As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.

Genesis 2:5-6 (NIV)

Genesis 6:17-18 (NIV)
(17) I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 7 Signs Of A False Prophet - By : Pastor Joseph ( NUMBER 7 MINISTRIES ) Christian Sermon Video - 2012

7 Signs Of A False Prophet

Sermon By : Pastor Joseph

( NUMBER 7 MINISTRIES )

I do not believe a false prophet only has 7 signs nor do I believe they must have all of these 7 signs. A false prophet will be more effective in misleading people by only having a few of these signs.

The 7 Signs of a False Prophet :

#1) Denies the deity of Jesus.
#2) Teaches contrary to what Jesus taught.
#3) Has the love of money.
#4) Try to steal God's glory.
#5) Has a hidden agenda.
#6) Speaks smooth.
#7) Hypocrite.

Matthew 10:16 (NIV)
“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. - Amen !

Inspirational Quotes / Words of Wisdom :

"A false Prophet makes a lot of friends, because he tells people what they want to hear, not what they need to hear. And the truth is no matter who you are, no matter what your title is, no matter how long you've been serving God, you've sinned".

1 John 4:3; Deuteronomy 13:1-4 (NLT)

1 Timothy 6:3-10 [ Error and Greed ]

  1 Samuel 2:7; Psalm 105:15; Isaiah 14:14 (NKJV)

Matthew 23 [ A Warning Against Hypocrisy ]

 Matthew 24:11 (ESV)
And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.

Matthew 7:15-20 (NIV) [ True and False Prophets ]
(15) “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. (16) By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? (17) Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. (18) A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. (19) Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (20) Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

2 Peter 2:1 (NIV) [ False Teachers and Their Destruction ]
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.

Matthew 24:23-25 (NLT)
(23) “Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it. (24) For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. (25) See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.

Revelation 21:8 (NKJV)
But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Revelation 20:10 (NIV)
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Amen !

1 Peter 1:3-5 (NLT) [ The Hope of Eternal Life ]
(3) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. (5) And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.
