"Awesome God" is a contemporary worship song written by Rich Mullins and first recorded on his 1988 album, Winds of Heaven, Stuff of Earth. It was the first single from the album and rose to the No. 1 spot on Christian radio and subsequently became a popular congregational song. [1] Its title is inspired by a biblical expression ( Nehemiah 1:5, Nehemiah 9:32, Psalm 47, Daniel 9:4, etc. ), variously translated as "Awesome God", (JPS, in the old-fashioned meaning "awe-inspiring"), "great" (KJV), among other alternatives.

 Numerous Christian artists have performed versions in various styles, from ska to swing to straight rock and traditional worship style.

How can I go to Heaven ?

There is only one way to get there! Believe upon Jesus. Confess your sins to Jesus and ask Him to forgive you and to cover your sins with His blood. You will not perish but will have everlasting life with Jesus in Heaven.

We receive Jesus Christ by faith (trust),
as an act of the will.

YOU CAN RECEIVE CHRIST RIGHT NOW BY FAITH THROUGH PRAYER :

God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart.

Salvation Prayer

You can have everlasting life with God only by your faith in Jesus Christ. His death on the cross removed forever all your sins, and believing in His resurrection from the dead will give you everlasting life with Him. God knows your heart. But you can talk to God. Tell Him that you believe and trust in what Jesus Christ has done for you. Pray to God from your heart:

DEAR GOD,
I KNOW THAT I HAVE DONE MANY SINFUL DEEDS. I REPENT AND TURN AWAY FROM MY SINFUL WAYS. I KNOW THAT I DO NOT DESERVE TO LIVE FOREVER WITH YOU. I KNOW THAT NO ONE CAN BE JUSTIFIED BEFORE YOU BY KEEPING THE LAW OR DOING GOOD WORKS BECAUSE NO ONE CAN BE PERFECT. I BELIEVE THAT YOU CAME TO EARTH AS A MAN, JESUS CHRIST. I BELIEVE YOU TOOK UPON YOURSELF THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD, MY SINS, WHEN YOU WERE CRUCIFIED ON A CRUEL CROSS, AND YOU SUFFERED AND DIED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR ME. I BELIEVE YOU DEFEATED SATAN AND YOU DEFEATED DEATH TO RISE FROM THE GRAVE, AND YOU ARE NOW ONE WITH THE FATHER.
